About Me

Congo - Kinshasa
In December 2006, Marsha and I were called to serve as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for two years in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Our service started in July 2007. We have the wonderful blessing to work with about 120 young missionaries. Most of them come from the DRC or Republic of Congo, but others come from Ivory Coast and Zambia. They are the most incredible young people -- we love them and appreciate their examples. We also have 18 young North American missionaries who labor in two cities in Cameroon and Pointe Noire in the Republic of Congo. And there are 7 wonderful senior couples who serve in 4 cities in the DRC, Cameroon and the Republic of Congo. This blog tells about what we are discovering in Africa, our wonderful missionaries, and the 20,000 faithful and loving members of the Church in these countries.
